daydreaming.....

As I spent most of the day yesterday getting my taxes together, I did a little daydreaming. I did spend a whole 5 hours gathering my business taxes materials together, crazy....I know. I really should have an accountant, but I always think to myself "save the extra dollars" and then come to hate myself for ever even thinking that. When one owns a business {especially when it was a brick and mortar}, thinks are complicated. Receipts, write-offs, expenses......aaaaaagggghhhh.
This is why I did a little daydreaming, and this is what I dreamed about......bedrooms. lovely bedrooms.....

{oops, how did this one get here...}!!!

These are all from my favorite 2 mags of the whole world. Domino, which has me tearing up every time I think about it, and Country Living.
Have a great Friday my friends......
xoxo

I'm sad as well about all the magazines going under. So much great inspiration that will be no longer. I'm holding out hope that when things pick up, some new magazines will come to be. Fingers crossed! Beautiful bedrooms.

I want the one with the pearl chandelier. Wouldn't you just feel like a queen waking up in that luxury every day? How fun!

I could fall asleep on any one of those! That last bed is AMAZING and would match my new chair. why on why won't someone donate one of those around here to goodwill so that I can pick it up for a deal. :)

I love the first headboard(mirror?) It makes me think I need to revamp my room!!!!! WE tend to live in our bedroom( I also tend to throw everything in here when I have clients over ) I am thinking I will revamp an old bed frame I have that I love but looks scratched . My dilemma is that my husband tends to like "modern" beds and wants a platform bed(yuck!!!!) It is hard to compromise!!!!! LOL Sara

I think you are channeling me today. I was just looking at that first bedroom this morning in one of my old "Creative Home" magazines. I just love that huge old tarnished mirror. The patina is amazing.

Sorry about the taxes...yuck!
Have a great weekend!

So pretty!!

What I wouldn't give for a sparkly chandelier. *sigh*

But I have a husband who thinks he gets a say in our decor and won't allow anything too girly. ;-)

I will take them all, can they be gift wrapped and shipped, please? Happy Weekend!

Gorgeous images! some of those are my all-time favorites... I am surprised Domino was one of your favorites! I think of it as so modern, though I can tell why you like those images. Are you noticing a trend with all white bedding???

I love your blog! Such inspirations...I love your first photo and the last. I am envisioning my bedroom makeover in this kind of style. I have been collecting my "bargain" finds and will now have to wait until we move to work on it, so until then I too will be daydreaming....

Thanks for stopping by my blog. You get quite a bit of traffic here, I see. I, for one, am a sucker for the second bedroom with the brick wall and chandelier. Gotta love an exposed brick wall; thanks for sharing. :)

I wanted you to know I got the cake stand and tea pot the other day. I haven't been up to putting pics on my blog yet but I LOVE them. I would have bought every piece if I could have managed a place for them. :) Thanks so much! xo

I would be happy with any of those bedrooms! If it wasn't spring, I would be focusing on making ours lovelier, but for now, the gardens call~

I could so use your help with my master. It is the last room that I have to do. It really should be the first room that you decoate...you know....it is a pretty important room. But, I guess it isn't where I invite guest for drinks when they are visiting.

Love reading your blog. Blessings to you:)

I'd take any of these rooms - love the brick wall soooo much. Especially since our room is totally cluttered with my paintings stacked against one wall. Thanks for this inspiration yet again!
