Meet the little guy.....

This is my little guy Fin. He is almost 3 1/2, the youngest of my three kids and the last.
Ever since Fin was born, I have done very little to record his life.
My friend and i were discussing yesterday how our third child really is just the bounce off child.
Our first, goes to music classes, gymboree classes, we start playgroups, and we cater to their every need.

Our second child MIGHT get a class here or there, but get shuffled to the older child's classes nonetheless.

Then comes the third, if you even get to three.
We always knew we wanted three, but with the first two so close in age (16 mo.) we knew we had to space.
"Space" you say?
only 2 1/2 years later little Fin was born.
NO music classes, NO Gymboree classes, No this or No that.
Little Fin gets shuffled to all of the older kids sports, dance, and what not. His favorite show is SpongeBob, just like the 7 year old.
But in all of that, he is by far the sweetest child. I also think he's darn cute. Beach blond like his dad was when he was that age.
So here is Fin, the third child.

That's so funny that you say that because my hubby and I were just talking about our 3rd like that. She loves everything the older two want and it's kind of a pain sometimes...an 18 month old who refuses a sippy cup...wants markers. I only hope the potty training works out like that! Jen R

I completely understand you as a Mom of three!
It is a busy life with three! Your little guy is very cute and your blog is utterly sweet!

What a cutie-pie! I am totally with you on the 3rd child issues. Our 3rd was a girl after two boys though, so she gets tons of pictures taken and lots of spoiling. The good thing though is that with my sons being 6 and 4 and in school, I will have more one on one time do things with her. That will be nice:)

Oh you made me tear up. That is so true, I have heard! I only have one 3 1/2 years old...and can imagine how life would be with 3.
Your Fin is such a cutie and you are one lucky mama...

How would it be to head out the door for our Gymboree class again. I know 4 and 5 won't get the same treatment as my first but I'm sure glad he did or I would not have met such a dear friend like you. Love you. Fin is so darn cute!

I absolutely adore this post. It is just awesome that you devoted an entire post to that dear boy. How special it may be to him one day (which just means you MUST keep your blog going for at least the next 10 or 20 years so he can appreciate it!). :)
I am the youngest of 8 and the parents are probably harder on themselves than they should be. When you have siblings, you have playmates -24/7! So, you really don't need all that other stuff that gets "left behind" after the 2nd & 3rd child comes along...they have each other (and unlike all those classes, it's free!).
Little Fin was meant to be -- had you not had him, you'd never be sitting here today, with the spotlight on him, appreciating his sweet, sweet nature and noting how he is his own little, contented self. How absolutely precious. I am I'm glad he's here and I'll never even meet him. A big SHOUT OUT to our man FIN! Whoo Hoo, FIN!!

So cute! Love the blond hair - will it turn brown later on?? This is what happened to my husband:) I still have yet to get pregnant and experience ALL of this. But, being a middle child, I can attest to this pattern!

BTW - I love that you have HEM playing on your blog. She is my favorite - seen them three times in concert and I can't wait to get their newest album!!! The most beautiful music:)

He is soooo cute, Kasey. I love the framed Fin! He sure is growing fast. Don't worry, according to birth order theories, the first is high-strung, the middle has middle child issues, and the third is supposed to be the most well-rounded, laid back order of birth. So, you got the easiest last :)...or something like that! Can't wait to see all of them, and you!

He is soooo cute! And I love his name. Is it a family name?

it is the same in our family for our third child, she gets shuffled around to all her two older sibs activities and barely has any of her own. But she is definitely the sweetest of the three.
