seven years.....

Sunday morning i woke up and i had a 7 year old. ....

How did that happen?!

Little Lola had a fabulous day......

*she ran

*she played

*she beheaded a unicorn.......

*she indulged in chocolate cupcakes {let me know if you want the recipe........and I'll call costco for it}....

*she even had fun with chocolate smeared on her lips.........

*she played with her friends...

*she opened her gifts...

*she played with her gifts.....

* she played with her gifts...

* she played with her gifts....

* you get the idea.....

*she had a fabulous day.

How did this happen?

Seven years ago I had a brand new baby girl.......and a 16 mo old baby boy.....did i just really say that?

2 babies 16 mo apart?

well.....it all worked out.....

Seven years ago my mom and dad were in the delivery room with us......

..it was special for my dad.....he was not allowed in the delivery room when my brother and i were born...

don't worry.....he stood up by my head.....

Seven years ago my hubby helped deliver this little girl.....

yup...you heard that right......

and we're still married......

Seven years ago......my little Lola was born.....
I love you baby girl....

Happy Birthday to YOU mama, because selfishly, I always feel like our children's birthdays are really OUR days to celebrate! Your little 7 year old is just so fabulous, and no doubt, the fabulousness is something you passed on to her.

Now, for her 8th? I am doing the cupcakes.

Great photos!

My oldest 2 are 15 months apart. I love that they are so close in age...but I still scratch my head on that one every once in a while.

I thought about sweet Lola yesterday. I too can't believe she is seven. I still remember your cute little prego body at gymboree play. It doesn't seem that long ago. Happy Birthday Lola!! I'm glad she had a wonderful day.

Dear Lola,
I wish that I was your sister so that your mom could be my mom and I could have such a fabulous birthday party. Happy Birthday!

Awww, happy birthday Lola. Sounds like her day was fabulous. My Ella was just 7 in March and when she was born I had 16 month old Hailey at home. I still can't believe we made it through those first few months alive and sane (somewhat). When people ask me if they are twins (constantly) and I say they are 16 mos. apart, I say it in disbelief that we had them that close on purpose. Who does that?! lol I wouldn't change it for anything though, it's great having them so close in age.
