fashion friday....

Dearest blue dress, how i covet thee. I saw you across the way at my favorite shop, and knew you beckoned to me. I took you into the dressing room, letting you hang amongst while dreaming.... and i knew....i just knew.

You hang on my door in style...

you love the shoes i pare you with.....

you billow in the wind without regret.....

you dream on a bed of feathers......

oh, blue dress, how i love thee....

{thank you dear friend Maisy, for helping with with this photoshoot!}

How fun this was, but it took the whole day...nothing like lugging an iron bed out back!

come check out the "other" fashionista {my new bff}...Rebekah...here.

and if you love that bed, email me, cuz i'm planning on putting

it in shop next week. And, thank you for letting me post about my love for style!

xxoo

Hilarious! I guess you love Illinois weather so much now that you can't help but nap in the snow. I just bought that dress yesterday....along with WAY too many other things. You would like the Two Rivers dress...I bought it and love it. Very comfy.

the dress, oh how we love polka dots... glad you bought it!
pic in the snow, girle you are too much! never a dull day, might as well make use of the beautiful white snow! ha

oh and i am laughing about your cherry cabinets, I just moaned to darcy about mine right before posted about yours! uugh, they are so dark and hard to clean! people think i'm crazy for wanting to paint them. This old house has a great tutorial on painting cabinets. darcy is one great painter and might hire her to do mine. my kitchen is NOT me!!!

LOVE! It is all perfect. The dress billowing in the wind reminded me of summer days to come. The shoes you paired it with are flat out gorgeous. And you lounging on the bed out back? That is perfect.

Talk about commitment to the cause! I can't imagine how much determination it must have taken to get that bed outside---but it's totally worth it for such a gorgeous dress!

You go girl! I love that dress and it's classic femininity and that you lugged an iron bed out into the snow for a magazine worthy photo shoot. Fantastic!
