A story about a girl who loves chocolate croissants...

It all started a few weeks ago, when a new friend asked me over to her home for coffee and croissants. Chocolate croissants nonetheless.

We chatted, we indulged, we bonded, and out of this lovely new friendship, came my love for these Chocolate croissants from Trader Joe's. Now, if you don't know about Trader Joe's then I'm not going to tell you how wonderful they are, you will just have to assume that It's a wonderful place. These Croissants are in the frozen section girls, and i'm warning you, they are addictive and fattening and just plain fabulous. They will make you think you are in the smallest of cafe's in France.

It is because of these, that i had no choice but to start this:

Boot Camp. Say it with me girls.......Boot Camp.
One of my closest friends teaches this bootcamp class two nights a week. Tues & Thurs eve. She's {believe it or not, from Colorado as well, and we lived on the same street but never really knew each other} been here in Illinois for almost a year, has quite the following for the EXTREME boot camp class. Now mind you I have not been to the gym in 8 mo. yes, 8 mo. We do push-ups, sit-ups, run-ups, down-ups, and every other up-down you can imagine.
Those Chocolate croissants have finally caught up with me, I've gained a little weight, my pants are a snug tighter, and my daughter asked me if we were going to have another baby.
BABY?!!!
Hand me another Croissant please!

You are so funny! Since I already go to a bootcamp taught by a friend...I think I'll be heading to TJ's tomorrow and grabbing me some of those! Thanks for the tip!

It is a good thing that we don't have a Trader Joe's where I live because the chocolate croissants sound delicious. It has been almost two week with sweets for me and boot camp starts next week. I am sympathizing with you!

I love Trader Joes and I know I would like those croissants. Good thing they don't have TJ in Colorado....because boot camp does not look like fun.

I was just at TJ's today after I went to Ikea...one of your other favorite stores...
Thank goodness I didn't know about these just a few hours earlier!
I have to find a way to work off the amazing dinner I just had.

I ran yesterday so I could go get a big chocolate brownie and coffee at Panera's today. :) Oh, the things we do for chocolate.

I've heard of chocolate croissants before, especially in the Bridget Jones books, but never actually saw one. Hmm...I might be tempted to try, but your cautionary tale of weight gain worries me. LOL But having seen your picture on your blog I have to tell you that you really don't have anything to worry about. :)

Good for you joining a boot camp class! I keep saying that I am going to do something to stop looking 5 months pregnant but alas, here I sit with an empty bowl of ice cream in front of me. Hey, it IS doctor's orders!

You are a crack up my dear! The chocolate croissants sound divine! Keep me away from the frozen section of Trader Joe's!! I should probably see if they have a boot camp around here. ;-)
