breathless...

I am in awe of newborn babies......
the sweet smell of baby powder...
the pursed lips.....
the clenched fists.

my darling neighbors had this sweet baby girl last week...she is a mere 6 days old.
What is it about the birth of a new baby that makes our heart skip a beat?
{deep sigh}
but then i heard her little scream at midnight last night and as much as i love babies....
i was able to close my window and fall back asleep.....
{double sigh}

Baby Devin ....for your information.... has a plum colored room.....with mom & dad totally nixing my idea of naming her Plum....but i'll heal.....only because i get to babysit.

breathless...
sweetness...
have a lovely weekend.

Such sweet pictures...oh babies {indeed a sigh} how sweet they are...and her room sounds beautifully plum:)...

cannot believe I am first comment {maybe not by the time I'm finished}...thought I would listen to your music since my blog will not upload photos...and the computer out the window doesn't sound too bad right now...:)

Baby Devin is adorable! I think Plum is s perfect choice. Maybe you should reserve that for your next one! ;-)

I love babies! Especially newborns. I know exactly the *feeling* you are talking about. *sigh* Congrats to your neighbors! I actually think Plum is a pretty cute name and I'm not much for naming kids after fruits. hehe

Nothing like a new baby. Plum would be an interesting name:) I think I like Devin better!

I keep having the pregnancy dreams. Even though I know it's not a possibility...they scare me a little. I'm way beyond the new baby and toddler stage finally:)

Hope you have a great weekend Kasey.

Ah, they are seductive, aren't they? My brother and his wife had a new baby girl just this week, and one of my girlfriends from college had one about 3 weeks ago, and it makes me want a second baby SO MUCH. It makes me a little sad that my days of tiny onsies, and tiny diapers, and midnight feedings might be over for good. And then I realize that my days of diapers and midnight feedings could be over good!!

LuLu

I can realte to this so much considering I have an 8 month old...except he is no longer my "precious little newborn"..he's my baby that is curious about everything BUT his mommy anymore. :(

She is so beautiful. Blissful sighs...

She is adorable...sigh.

Recently I've been very broody; uncontrolable at times. Craning my neck to catch a glimpse of a passing pushchair, cooing at little bundles. Then last week, I had a scare; you know the kind? And suddenly it was all very possible that 3 might become 4... and suddenly I wasn't broody any more!

Scare over - phew!

Oh I love me some tiny newborns. I could snuggle all day long. Thought I really wanted another, but realized that I just can't do it. So, I'll wait and in a few years I will most likely be a granny. But, my silly son better get married first. LOL
