daydreaming...

I was daydreaming about my garden party today............oh yes......it's true.....................only a hand full of posts to go, and I'm having a garden party. Do not fret my friends, because you will be invited, and it will be quite the event.

I even pulled the car over and had a nice little chat with some fellows on bikes.

Alright, so that may not be me..............but I did do some daydreaming.

I even got something else done ......

I did a little painting.....

I painted my kitchen my favorite color of the moment.....Swedish grey.

*sigh*

I even had 2 people come give me quotes on getting my cabinets painted.

One step at a time. slowly. oh so slowly....

The hubby is in Colorado on a little ski adventure with my 8 year old. A boys trip.

Let's see if he even notices the paint color change......

uh, yes...you might even see an uneven line against the ceiling....because i was thinking of those boys on the bikes....
Have an absolutely wonderful, dreamy weekend my friends....

You are hilarious...the boys on the bikes. I love your swedish gray. Will you share...I am considering a similar color for my dining room--so over the sage thing I did a few years ago. :)

P.S. I always paint when hubby travels. I love the freedom of just going for it without any questions.

Hi Kasey...

Ooooh...I'm loving your new kitchen wall color! I've seen so many pretty rooms done with grays here lately! I'd love to do something in that shade...hmmm, what to paint? Hehe!!!

Girl, I'm in Colorado and we're getting lots and lots of snow this weekend...your honey and son will have a fabulous time skiing on all of that fresh powder!!!

Warmest wishes,

Love the grey! I get my best work done when the husband is gone. I painted my cabinets. If you have the time it is not a bad project. Zinser primer works wonders!

Girl...you got guts!
You paint kitchens when hubby's out of town...I get dogs.
I think he would be happier with the paint thing :)
Had a blast enjoying your kitchen :)

Your soft and muted colors are so inspiring! I am now thinking I have been living in a very warm yellow on most of my walls and am ready for a change. I love the Swedish grey! I want to do soft blues throughout my home. Just beautiful! So love your style!!

Hugs to you,

Question: how does a real estate agent fit into this? Are you selling your beloved old home?

P.S. -- I'll be getting in some things that I think will make your loving-Swedish-thing heart swoon! :)

Beautiful color! I showed my husband and told him I thought your idea to paint while the husband is away is brilliant. Unfortunately, he disagreed. :-)
