it's a girls weekend...

I already have my suitcases packed. I am so ecstatic to be able to go with some good friends for a girls weekend in the lovely state of Washington the second weekend of June.......

we will be staying at this lovely hotel, The Davenport....in downtown Spokane.........

so that we can go to this place! The Farm Chicks Antique show, which is put on by the lovely Teri and Serena. I've had the pleasure of hanging with these girls twice now, and they are so sweet.

I'm also going to be able to finally meet some good friends that i have made thru this lovely blogland. Like this girl......the ubercool Rebekah.....

...and Jennifer....the cutest designer mom ever......... and this girl loves babies, let me tell you.

....and lovely shop owner Jackie. I just realized as I am writing this that all three of these girls are West Coast girls......I'm so jealous.

Any chance you are going?

xo

Wish I was going! Looks like it will be a blast. Thank you so much for the great advice about calling the P.D. You're too sweet. I've called them and I feel safer.
Now, maybe I can sleep and dream about going to the Antique show.

Oh my goodness! You have no idea the tachycardia you just gave me!!! I, along with every other woman, hoped to get your CD, but did not rank in your top 5. That is okay...I still come to listen and 'get away.' So, I live in west central Ohio...but I grew up a measly 45 minutes N. of Spokane!!! Good old Newport has the cutest, classiest, cleanest retro movie theatre ever!!! Gladys Bishop is the owner and sits in the window...you must go! She shows one movie a week and only one showing each evening, but it is so worth the gorgeous drive. And in case you are headed to Priest Lake, you have to drive through Newport. Or, if you want a stunning round-a-bout drive to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, you can still hit the ROXY Theatre. So sorry to take up your whole blog, but just want to give you some gorgeous hideouts...Up on the South Hill (just above the Davenport) are stunning homes lining a beautiful park called Manito Park. You'll be in heaven, trust me. Downtown, you'll love lunch at The Bread Harvest Company, or duh, the Nordstrom Cafe. Another fun place to go with only a short drive is Sandpoint, Idaho. Ohh, you are going to have a blast! I can hardly wait for my trip home in June. Cannot wait for your photos!

Spokane and i have a huge history! I went to Gongaza University! And my parents retired there now! The picture of my daughter dancing at my sisters wedding was taken at the Hotel! I'm in the works to make this trip happen... and see my family. so we shall see... my fingers are crossed.

I am, I am! How can we all get together???? I went about 3 years ago and am meeting a group of girlfriends again. It is so fun to be among a community of like-minded, creative, talented people.

It is the same weekend as Mary Carol Garrity's open house. She normally has a warehouse sale where we have UHauled all kinds of bargins home in the past. She changed her plans this year....so I really am thinking of changing my mind...how do you get things home from there if you buys way too much???
