the bad side....

the bad side of my brain got ahold of me yesterday. I don't know about you but every once in a while it gets me and makes me do things i don't want to do.......like shopping. I don't necessarily WANT to shop, but the bad side of my brain FORCES me to. I have been eyeing this shower curtain from Anthro {duh} for a while now. ....actually just a few weeks to be exact. So after i dropped the kids ALL off at school after a LONG weekend, i decided that a trip to Anthro was necessary.

Hello new Madoleine shower curtain!

she's a shabby, cottage, frenchie new addition to my petite bathroom in my petite farmhouse cottage....

Do you like that chandi above? I do. I love it. There will be some more in shop soon......

Stop here before you read on. .....because right next to Anthro was Gap. Now, normally i'm not a gap girl. sorry, i'm just not. BUT........i saw a sign in the window that said "SALE".

The bad side of the brain saw it also and dragged me in.....

sunburn and all.

long winters in the midwest does bad things to us.........we think that the first warm long weekend requires sitting outside ALL weekend with no sunscreen on.

BAD BRAIN.

But bad brain got a good deal on this grey dress. .......and the last one was just my size.

You are one of the only other people I "know" who would get equally excited as I would over a shower curtain. I have the layered ruffled curtain from Anthro in my girls' bathroom - love it. The dress looks perfect for a day at Farm Chicks!
Have a great day...I am off to do the same thing you did yesterday.

Oh yeah...I know just what you mean about the "dark side", having an "evil shopping twin"! :)

Mine gets me in SO much trouble at Anthro and Williams Sonoma...I thought moving out to the "country" would help (since I now have to drive at least 1/2 to get to those stores) but then I discovered that my "evil shopping twin" is an EXPERT at navigating the web and goes online at all hours buying up things at Anthro's & Williams Sonoma's websites! YIKES! ;)

Thanks for the post -- cute dress! You pull it off perfectly and I agree -- its perfect for Farm Chicks! :)

and I too, totally love the dress and really got a chuckle out of the previous post of the girls outside discussing baby...funny how it starts so young! I wonder what she would have done if she was sitting there alone....

So that is what I can call it when I go to the store and spend money I don't have on things I really don't need. I wonder if Hubby would accept that it wasn't me it was my bad side. It's certainly worth a try! Shopping here I come!

i love a good confessional blog entry!
i bought the white ruffley anthro shower curtain for my girls bath last year. i love it but my scrawny master bath wouldn't do it justice. the girls bath is the firs room as you walk upstairs...i love to see that curtain -all white & pretty...except when they get their mascara and orange shaving cream on it....surely you wont have that problem.
the bath chandi is just perfecto
they grey dress is just perfecto too
