from flea to me.....

On Saturday, I met a my good friend Jen at the Flea market for an afternoon of perusing. Do you see the bench above? She is completely hidden under boxes.....but i saw her from across the way and ran over as quick as i could so save her. Not only did i save her, but i saved her twin sister as well. This lovely "Swedish" inspired bench is made from old doors.

Come on......let's peruse....

I have a medley of photo's grouped together above to show you the vast amount of fabulous finds......my favorite were the vintage doll arms all grouped together in a box.....just waiting to crawl out!! And that red bike, you would die....it was only $50.
And hundreds and hundreds of old letter press stamps....................

I brought the benches home, and immediately put one in Lola's room, since i am in the middle of re-styling it.

I can't wait to show you what i'm doing with the other bench..............

that's going to be a whole other post.

Kasey...My favorite color scheme...whites,cremes all soft and dreamy...love it. Love your taste..Lola is a very lucky little girl to have a mommy like you!
P.S. I have a special little girl named Lola, too. She truly thinks she is my daughter, probably because I treat her that way. She's my little Havanese puppy.

You need to keep it at the end of Lola's bed, looks gorgeous. Or you could ship it right over to PO box 429.

Love Lola's room ~ beautiful & serene. I do believe those doll arms may have come from my little shop in the middle of Iowa. A wonderful gal from the Iowa Junk Gypsies that sells at Kane perused my shop last month and purchased all of my vintage doll arms. Could it be? Thanks for your lovely blog! Brenda

Ok...that bench is so perfect. It is great the you didn;t have to do anything with it for it to look like it belongs.

Those doll arms are creepy and crawly. They did make me laugh though. :) Have a nice Day
