i lied....

...and i told you i would show you my kitchen on Wednesday or Thursday. I lied. I couldn't wait to show you. My friend Paige told me that there would be no more kraft mac n cheese in this kitchen with the new do, so i do hope she's right......

The cabs were painted my favorite cottage white, it's what i use on most of the furniture that i paint. I also incorporated grey's, since the walls are pale grey and the counters are black quartz.
I used the glass knobs that i sell in shop for the hardware.

I switched out the shutter shelf i originally had above the window and replaced it with this antique wood pediment, and i also hung one of my white iron pot holders that holds some of my favorite measuring spoons from Anthro.
{which btw.....i still have not heard back from them......i'll be patient..........}

I am amazed at what a little paint did , and why oh why did i wait sooooo long?
So AnthropoloChic.

I love it. What a difference and I often ask myself the same thing "why did I wait sooo long" when I finally see the end result. The pot rack is awesome. What are you waiting to hear from Anthro about??

OK, I have been wanting to do this for the longest time. My kitchen has the same exact problem yours did. I know they would be great in white. I just can't take adding one more big cleaning job to the house each week and I am so afraid the kids and darling hubby won't quite keep with the keeping them clean program. Cherry is bad but not as bad as white that looks dingy. Do you have a plan?
