overwhelmed.....

Somehow rule #1 was broken: No eating on the new sofa..........and because you ate on the new sofa, and now there are ants because of the crumbs we have a new rule.

*I will stick your hand in honey and place it in the middle of the ant pile.

{i don't think there will be anymore broken rules}

I'm off to fold my laundry pile ladies.....

have a lovely Thursday!

p.s. thank you SO much for all the lovely comments you left on my kitchen, you made my heart sing!

Too funny! But kids will be kids, huh? The idea of a honey-covered hand and the ant pile literally made my skin crawl!! YIKES!!! You may have just invented a new form of torture! No...that would be a morning without coffee, but I digress...
I remember when my Olivia "disobeyed" and drank her grape juice and ate whatever it was she was eating on our new white couch (when she was in preschool) and spilled the grape juice ON THE COUCH....Yeah...I think SHE remembers that, too... Not a good morning as I recall. But, alas, a dozen years later, it all matters not one bit and we laugh about it. Funny how life is that way. :) Enjoy the day -- its all good! :)

Oh darling....no need for honey for your lil ones. They are sweet enough. The ants will love em"...hehe. Boy you gonna get some mad mommas at this one,Ha! So you do laundry in the living room. I do mine all over the house. Mainly the table but sometimes I just pile em' up on the bed. I have been known to knock em' off on the floor at bedtime if they hadnt found their home yet. I do have to clean house this morning though. Having family over to check out my puffy cheeks Im sure. You know they have never seen my house messy...ever! Ok I lied but I will feel better if my house is clean. At least I can be in pain and peace....have a great Thursday my dear!

I told Annie she couldn't eat in her room and I found a piece of pie up there the other day that the cat was finishing off ... I think I might have to use your threat ;)

Hand in the honey... Love it!
Reminds me of rules my mom use to make-like charging us 50 cents per wet towel we left on the floor or making us to push ups if we smarted off (even if it was in front of company)! ;)

Laundry....right before grocery stores as my least favorite thing to do. We spent hours this past weekend putting away all of our clean clothes. I have refussed to wash anything...just so my laundry room isn't full for once. I wish you would be honest with everyone that the wine...was the six glass:-)

We are in the process of "beautifying" ours but will never look like the new awesome laundry/mudrooms!!!! oh well,Sara

Ahhh- ants are no fun!

Maybe you could make some of these:
http://amyandjeffmartinez.blogspot.com/2009/04/carmel-dipped-and-chocolate-covered.html

and use them in your favor- when the kids do something good they can have some, otherwise they just get to watch you eat it! :)

That is too funny! I wish my room would be all clean after folding one load of laundry. If that makes you overwhelmed then don't come to my house any time soon.

Nice to see I'm in good company! Creative types just can't be bothered with mundane tasks such as laundry and house cleaning!
