Love that dog...

This is a story about a girl and a boy.

If you've been around awhile...then you know the girl.....

the girl is named wren....

and she's about to turn a year.

The girls mom is one of my closest friends....so she asked me take a few photo's.

The boy belongs to me.

his name is fin.....

but on this day....

we called him dog.

and this is a small documentary about a girl...

who loves that dog.

So...we had so much fun the other day....especially the dog.

Let me tell you....this is as close to getting a dog as i get....even though....it's known...that when

this boy turns 5....that we decided to....

talk

about

getting

a

dog.

Don't get me wrong....i love dogs...i grew up with always having a dog...

on the other hand....

the husband did not.

Do you know what kind of animal we have now? We have a bird.....a cockatiel to be exact.

She sure looked pretty in the pet store.....

yes she did.

The pet shop didn't mention that birds are loud..

and messy...

nope...

they did not.

So here we are....

with the closest version of getting a dog right now.

Love that dog

This is, truly, a fine world where children have poetic names like Wren and Fin. The dog thing is hard. We have three. That is two too many. It's work. It's incredible. Like children, but not.

Cute kiddos!
I have 3 dogs.
You can borrow one and try it out. LOL
I have one that snores. (Shelby)
One that sheds but is a lover. (Grace)
And the puppy (Stella)
Or borrow all three - I could use the break.

Sweet! They are such doll-babies. I love the colorful outfits (especially the pup cap) with the white background...quite Scandinavian of you!

I use to have a cockateil, miss her, but she was noisey... but when I just had an apartment, she was pretty close proximaty for a dog, use to sit on the top of my books, when I was reading, nibbling little bits of paper...but bird are better when you get them from a breeder when they've been hand feed, makes them nicer... sorry to ramble.

I can't believe Wren is a year. She is a beautiful little girl with great taste in clothes. Where did she get that dress?
Fin is still the cutest four year old boy ever!!

Now that is a cute hat!!

What treasures you have to remember that day. And, having gotten a dog because I have boys and boys need dogs (who spread that rumor?) I would say that dogs are highly overrated. Cats are more my style.

that's MY kind of dog.

Okay, first of all, that little Wren's clothes are amazing. Where did they come from? LOVE them.

Also, I am not a dog person but your dog I could handle...too cute!

Dogs can help kids run off energy. Just sayin'. ;-) Although, they can also make kids hyper and crazy....hmmm.

Definitely a cute dog.

Sweet pics, Kasey! :) My hubs did not grow up with dogs either...and therefore, does not care for them. SO, we have a cat....a cat that we are desperately trying to find a home for...go figure. Have a great weekend! :)

What adorable kiddos. Love the hat! Have you ever heard the saying "Boys only need two things. A dog and a mom who will let him have one". Something like that. I couldn't imagine life without a dog:)
