Two ways to wear it....

My problem is i like clothes.....
and i really like them when they cost less then $30.
So....
when i find a screaming deal....
i want you to benefit as well.
I just wanted to show you TWO ways ...
even though there are multiple ways...
to wear this cute wrap dress that i picked up
at Target last week for $25.
Dress it up with some tights ..
{which i also scored at Target on clearance for $3}
and wear some cute knee high boots.
The boots are from Anthro last year....but i see them
on Ebay all the time.
I also feel like a great pair of knee high riding boots is like
investing in your child's education....
it's a great investment;-)

Or....dress them down...

and wear the dress over jeans...which are tucked into your boots.

This is where you can actually wear those skinny style jeans...

because your tush isn't showing....it's covered by the dress.

If you don't have knee high boots...wear the dress over jeans...

with a ballet flat.

Now...go forth ...and blow the other moms away.

*style tips provided to you today by my new sponsor: Air France*

*just kidding....it sounded good though...*

I love both looks. And I love that you are encouraging moms to dress as they like, not as they 'should'.

Bring it on!!

Too funny, I bought the Blue one last week at Target. Converse, Yes? Love it.. I was saving it for a little warmer weather to wear with boots and knee highs and a little sweater, maybe this weekend. Cute both ways. xo Jamie

So cute! Walmart has a similar dress in their clearance racks right now for $5.

I wish we could wear boots like that in AZ! It's usually so warm that wearing anything more than flats feels way overdone. We're too casual here! lol

we don't have Target here in Canada....so very sad for me. But you look fab. I will try and find something similar and do these looks. Love them. And THAT is the only way I pick out things for myself...by copying someone else. Anytime I can wear jeans AND cover my butt at the same time with something pretty...well...I'm all for that. And the springtime is PERFECT for this look. PLEASE do this again...I like copying your clothing...I hope you don't mind...

Kasey,

I really enjoy reading your blog. Here is a tip: a cute skinny or fat brown belt over the dress would be awesome (to show off the waist and give it more definition). The dress is very cute with those boots. I will say that I don't like dresses with jeans. I am short so it always looks sloppy and makes me look shorter. Keep up the good work though! I always look forward to a new post!

Loved your post about Fin turning 5. Laughed about the butt-wiping comment, funny how certain things really show how they are growing older....my son will be 5 in September :(

Both looks are just lovely! I passed that dress up at Target! Talked myself right out of it. I do love clothes. Even better when they are fairly good quality for less. It would be nice to see more posts like this here and there. I need major help in the fashion dept.! :) BTW-thanks for sharing about the boots. :) I have yet to own a pair knee high boots! Gasp! I'm 5'1". I do really like those! Maybe I could pull it off? Lindsey :)

I bought that dress, too, a couple of weeks ago! I wore it to church the next day with heels and a sweater. The next weekend I wore it to a birthday party over a dark grey, long-sleeved tee and dark grey leggings (on clearance from wal-mart!). Sigh....I love that dress. You look fab in it, too!
